Bought new car that is ex-rental

I bought a one-year-old Audi A1 from local Audi dealer with low miles. I have found out that the first owner was rental car company. Should they have told me ? I would not have bought car if I had known. The rub is I had to sign a document to confirm my car had not been used for hire or taxi! I am worried resale price could be affected. Do you think I have a reason to complain ?

Strictly speaking by the 2008 CPRs they should have told you, but the stigma attached to hire cars nowadays is mainly in people's imagination based on horror stories about hire cars 40 years ago. The car will be better run in than one that had one private owner.
