Power of modern engines
I am thinking of buying a new Skoda Superb Estate. I am told that its 1.4 turbo engine is comparable to the 2.5 engine of my 1999 Vauxhall Omega because of the progress in engine design. Do you agree?

Yes. Small turbo engines such as the 1.4 TSI 150 ACT now give remarkable power, but more importantly torque, and are much more lively than sluggardly old naturally aspirated 6-cylinder engines. What's more the Superb estate is an excellent car. www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/skoda/skoda-superb.../
