Toyota Yaris semi automatic not selecting gear?

I bought a Yaris a few weeks ago. The car was running okay but now it has flashing light on dash board and is not selecting gear when engine running. But when the engine is off it will select normal?

They are notorious for this problem. Likely to be a failed actuator, but these can sometimes be reprogrammed. Try a member of www.fedauto.co.uk/ If you bought it from a dealer, back it immediately for a full cash refund.
