Bought a car six weeks ago but still haven't got the V5C
I bought a car from a used car dealer forecourt 6 weeks ago. Two weeks ago I rang the dealer as the V5C registration document had still not arrived - I was told all V5Cs had been posted out at the beginning of December and that the Royal Mail and DVLA would be slow at processing them.
As of now I have still not received the V5C. Does this mean I have to apply for it myself from the DVLA and pay a fee to do so? I am not happy with the car but surely cannot sell it without a V5 document?

If you are not happy with the car and there is a good enough reason you can reject it back to the dealer you bought it from. You could have done what within 30 days automatically. Now you may have a bit of a fight. Law here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
