Can I reject a car after 16 months?
I bought a Vauxhall Meriva 16 months ago. Soon after purchase an electrical fault developed. The car has been in the garage number times since to be fixed, but none of the repairs have worked. What are my rights? Can I reject the car and get my money back?

You can't get your money back after 16 months use of a car. You might successfully sue for 'market value', and you can use Small Claims if your claim is less than £10,000. Rights here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
