Should I buy a high mileage Hyunaia Santa Fe?

I'm thinking of buying a 2010 Hyundia Santa Fe 2.2 Preimium CRDI. It has 141,000 miles on the clock and a full service history with one owner. The price is really good - under £7000 - but a few friends have told me to stay clear of high mileage cars. What do you think?

They changed the engine of the Santa Fe for 2010 from belt cam to the chain cam R-Type. The auto and manual both got six speeds. If it's a five-speed auto or manual it has the old engine and I wouldn't go for it. If it's the chain cam R Type, could be okay. Problem areas here (mostly EGRs and DPFs): www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/hyundai/santa-fe-200.../ Underslung spare wheels are frequently stolen.
