Does the new polo diesels engine originate from an Audi A2?
I use to own an Audi A2 three-cylinder 1.4TDI which I absolutely loved. The engine was sporty sounding and despite its low power felt remarkably swift. I read recently that the revised Volkswagen Polo has a range of three-cylinder diesel engines, and I was wondering if these are the same as the engines featured in the A2 which also came in 75 and 90PS? If this is the case I could very well be tempted.

No, new engines. We tested one in a Fabia here and it was okay: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/skoda/skoda-fabia-.../
