Why can I hear water flowing through my Vauxhall Astra's heater matrix?
I have a Mk4 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 8v. When I start it and pull away I can hear the water flow throw the heater matrix. It never loses water temperature and there is good hot air in car, no oil in the water and no gunk on the dipstick or oil cap. It had a new thermo water pump and head gasket about eight months ago and was fine until last week.

It's not really a problem until you start losing coolant. Probably a baffle that restricts the flow and the noise has broken off.
