BMW 320i - belt or chain?
I'm looking at buying a 2009 BMW 320i ES saloon, it’s an auto with a full service history. I just have a couple of questions:
Does it have folding rear seats?
Does it have a cam belt or timing chain?
I’ve heard a few people say that it has quite a hard ride due to the run flats – just wondering if you have heard the same and if you had any suggestions on making the ride a bit more comfortable?

Folding rear seats were an option so it might or might not have them.
Timing chain.
Depends on the size of the runflats. 17" marginal. 18" hard. The way to make it more comfortable is to switch to 16" wheels with 205/60 non runflat tyres and then find a way to fix a spare into the load deck.
