Do I have to notify my insurer about brake modifications?
My 1997 Honda ESI CRX is great except the brakes. They lack a bit of "bite" when applied. I have seen EBC "Green Stuff" pads which offer more bite and possibly more braking performance. If I decided to fit these would I need to notify my insurer?

Yes you would have to inform your insurer and they probably would not be very effective anyway without better, cross drilled discs such as Rossinis that come with their own specific pads.
