What are the pros and cons of the Ford Focus chain-cam 100ps and 1.6 belt-cam 115ps engines?
I am about to buy a 2007 1.6 Focus Estate. Could you please advise me on the pros and cons of the 1.6 chain-cam 100ps and the 1.6 belt-cam 115ps engines?

I might have been wrong about this. I thought and was told by Ford that the Focus II had the chain cam Mazda 1.6 engine, but readers tell me only the 1.8 and 2.0 are chain cam. The 115PS VCT is more efficient and more economical than the 100PS, but commands a significant premium.
