Is the mileage rate for electric vehicles different?

I'm taking part in the Mini E trial and will occasionally use the car for business use. Under the company policy I currently claim back 22p a mile and the tax relief of the balance. Does this mileage rate change for electric vehicles? I've had a look on various sites and I cannot see a reference to type of car and my company is also unsure.

I don't see why it should be any different. Should be 40p/mile for the first 10,000 miles and 20p/mile thereafter, tax free.
