What newer makes and models should my mum consider to replace her Mercedes-Benz A-Class with?

What car is best for me? I like a high driving position, boot space for camping, good fuel economy, ideally some bodywork protection/trims, good all-round driving visibility, cheap to insure/tax.

Citroen C3 Picasso (2009 - 2017)

Decent practical upright car. Roomy in the back. Good load capacity. Drives and rides well. Panoramic front screen with no blindspots.

Kia Venga (2010 - 2018)

Spacious back seats and wide-opening doors. Easy to drive and park. Good visibility. Decent boot capacity.

Hyundai ix20 (2010 - 2018)

Good range of efficient chain cam engines. Cheap to run. Good visibility. Easy to get in and out of. Plenty of rear passenger and boot space. Attractively facelifted for 2016 model year with newer engines and transmissions.
