Buying a used Ford Fiesta - which engine is best?

We are looking to but a Ford Fiesta, but cannot decide on which petrol engine to choose. Is the 1.25 good for longer occasional journeys or should we look to 1.4/1.6?

1.4 better. 1.25 a little cheaper to insure.
