I don't know if you know much about this, but I'll ask anyway. We got a Motability car in January 2008, and we like this model a lot. Now I am a Ford man, so would prefer that make. But according to information in the Motability booklet, you can have the same car again, no problem. But I am also being told that if there is an advanced payment on that particular car, when you go to renew, you must pay that amount.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone can walk into a garage, and if they have the money, buy any car, including the same one. But if you are relying on the Nil Advanced payments to get a vehicle, that is not exactly getting the same car without a hitch. We have no control over how any car company is going to change deals over three years. So how can they say they will keep you with the same car if you cannot afford extra payments. It would just mean having to shop around for another make, wouldn't it?
