Damaged seats - can I claim against the warranty?

I bought an 18 month old SEAT Leon X-Perience with 15,000 mile son the clock. Recently the stitching in the seats has started to come apart. The warranty firm has rejected my claim as wear and tear. Is this right?

You don't say when you bought it. if this occurred within 6 months of your purchase of the car then, unless the dealer can prove you abused it, the dealer is automatically liable for any fault present or developing on the date he sold you the car.
