How do I clear a fault code on my 2004 Vauxhall Vectra?
I have a 2004 Vauxhall Vectra diesel and the engine light is on. The car wouldn't rev above 2500 rpm and I took it to a garage to plug it into a computer. It came up with a biometric sensor fault. So I bought a replacement and put it in, but the light is still on. Does it need to be plugged in again to reset it?

The fault code needs to be cleared via the OBDII diagnostic port.

Far better than previous Vectra. Now with decent handling and an excellent ride. Plenty of safety kit. Roomy in the front. Big boot. Good looks.
