Audi Q3 - hesitation under acceleration

My two year old Audi Q3 (quattro) has developed a slight hesitation when accelerating, just as the turbo begins to take effect - 2200/2400 rpm. This only seems to happen when its been standing for a while. Any idea what could be causing this?

Might be the dual mass flywheel rather than the turbo. But wise to get the turbo bearing oil feed and oil return pipes checked for carbon build-up that would prevent sufficient oil getting to the turbo bearings.
