2013 BMW 1/F20 N47 Diesel - what's wrong?
I have a 2013 BMW 116d. The timing chain was replaced under warranty roughy one year ago. The BMW garage has insisted that the new chain will not have the same problems as before, because they've installed new tensioners. Given regular/required maintenance, is it likely for the timing chain to fail (not snap) a second time?

I would feel reasonably confident that the N47 tensioner problem is now solved.
