Buying a new SEAT Leon ST - petrol or diesel?
I have noticed that SEAT Leon ST diesels are cheaper than their petrol equivalents. Should I be concerned about DMF, DPF problems on SEAT diesels as with other cars? Is the petrol in this model still the best choice for 10k miles a year use?

Yes. Unless you need a 4WD station wagon, best go for the 1.4TSI. The 1.4TSI 125 is adequate; the 1.4TSI ACT 150 is excellent. Further good news is that the ST spec gets you the fully independent rear suspension that benefits ride and handling.
