Best low insurance car for a teenager?
I am looking for the best Group 1 insurance car for my 19 year old grand daughter. It must have five doors and a petrol engine with a manual gearbox. Journeys will be between Durham University and her home in Berkhamsted. What models should I consider for her within a budget of £6.5K? Reliability, build quality and low maintenance costs are important.

Toyota Yaris 1.3 manual. Maybe a Fiesta 1.25. Maybe a Corsa 1.0 or 1.2. Steer clear of Polos, Fabias and Ibizas.
