My wife's 2007 Colt CZ1 1.1 petrol is our runabout and does mostly short journeys with the occasional longer run. It's done just over 41,000 since new in Dec 2007 and has been trouble-free and a great little car. We have had it serviced by a local independent after using the main dealer for the first 5 years. I believe it has a chain cam engine but was wondering whether there are any associated parts, e.g. water pump, pulleys etc which it would be sensible to replace at this time? Many years ago, before the risk of cam belt failures became better known, I had a belt fail on a Capri Mk2 and it wrecked the engine, so I would like to avoid a repeat.
