Why is my insurance company asking for a copy of my driving licence?
I'm about to renew my insurance with Admiral and I have received a letter from them asking to send them a copy of my driving licence. This is the second year with them and they didn't request it in the first year. Is this legal?

Yes. They probably mean this: www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence/ It's a standard imposition by insurance companies ever since the paper counterpart was abandoned.
