Why does my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso lose power at 30-40mph?

When I change to second gear or third gear in my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, there doesn't seem to be any power at around 30 to 40mph, so I have to rev the engine until the power returns. What do you think the problem could be?

Are you saying that the engine is running ok (with no misfire) but doesn't produce power? Is your clutch system ok? Your symptoms could also indicate a slipping clutch.
