How difficult is it to change the heater matrix on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee?

I am thinking of buying a 1997 Jeep Cherokee but the heater matrix needs replacing or repairing. How difficult is this and what is the approximate cost?

Hugely difficult. At least a day's work. The matrix itself isn't too expensive, but getting to it and fitting it is.
