Is my Peugeot 207 leaking Eolys fluid?

I just noticed a leak from the rear of my Peugeot 207 HDI. I've been told its Eolys fluid. Is this serious, and why would it leak?

That is the fluid to regenerate the diesel particulate filter. It usually lasts for 50,000 to 80,000 miles. A new DPF is the wrong side of £600, so the leak needs prompt attention.
