Which are the best runflat tyres currently available?

You recommend fitting third generation runflat tyres to improve ride quality, but I have been unable to find any for sale in the UK. The most common mentioned is the Bridgestone Turanza but that was the subject of a poor quality class action in the USA which was settled out of court by Bridgestone and BMW. This may be the reason they are not being sold here. Do you have any information on other makes that may be available, and is it really a good idea to fit them in view of the fact that there may be problems associated with the product?
