Volkswagen Polo or SEAT Ibiza?
I have owned a Volkswagen Polo 1.9TDI sport on a 52 plate from new. I am now thinking of replacing it - my only criticism of the car is its hard suspension. The two cars in my sights are the Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TSI and the SEAT Ibiza 1.4 TSI DSG. Since Volkswagen have seen fit not to put a DSG box on a sensible TSI Polo (The GTI is not sensible, and too pricey), which you would consider the nicer car to drive and own?

With the proviso that the DSG can leave you stuck half way across a junction when you least expect it to, the Ibiza FR 1.4TSI Twincharger DSG at £1500 is both better looking and much better value than the Polo, which is built about 250 miles due west of SEAT's Martorell factory, in Pamplona, Northern Spain.
