I don't cover many miles - is a hybrid suitable?

I only do 3000 - 4000 miles a year. Is a hybrid car suitable?

It's not just suitable, it's ideal - provided it's not one of the more unusual diesel hybrids, at least. Petrol hybrids are great for short trips, particularly around town at low speeds. Here the electric engine and battery really help to improve economy and reduce pollution.
