Am I obliged to inform my own insurer of a claim that's going through the other party's insurance?
Am I obliged to inform my own insurance company of an car park bump, even though I was not in the car at the time and the lady responsible has admitted fault? She gave me all her insurance details.

If it's subject to an insurance claim, then yes you need to inform your insurer for information only. This does annoy me, as you will be penalised for it. Should your premium increase as as a result, make sure you claim any increase in premium for the next five years from the at fault party's insurer.
