Is this Land Rover Freelander fitted with a kit intended to prevent head gasket problems?
I've been told by the garage from where I'm about to buy a 1999 Land Rover Freelander 1.8EXI that it has had a conversion kit fitted to stop the head gasket problems associated with them. Is this correct?

Yes, a kit was available involving a larger header tank with a warning system fitted to alert the driver if the level dropped.
