What is the noise coming from the front offside of my car when on full lock at low speeds?
I notice a knocking coming from the front offside of my car when on full lock at low speeds, i.e. pulling away in car parks. It felt like I was driving with a flat tire, so I took it back to the dealer only to be told it was a "characteristic" of the car and there was nothing they could do. Is this fair that they can sell a car with a fault and just pass it off like this?

It isn't a fault. You are simply using too much lock and convoluting the driveshafts too much. Wind off an inch at the steering wheel and you should not have the problem.
