Mazda MX-5 - Selling Private Reg Plate - paul97

Hi

We are in the process of selling our MX-5 which has a Private Reg Plate, how do we go about selling it and where would be the best place to advertise it?

Are you selling it with or without the private plate? If you're selling without, put the number on retention at DVLA, cost £80, and then advertise it on Autotrader, Gumtree or ebay - be prepared for time-wasters and fraudsters.

I would have thought you’d get more selling the car and plate separately, less chance someone would want both.
