How we assisted

Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Gear control - 1U6 / Transmission control 1.0 Status :P1759 - Solenoid valve 2. Error Message : Fault in control circuit. Fault active. Status :P175D - Solenoid valve 3. Error Message : Fault in control circuit. Fault stored. Status :U0415 - CAN signal from ABS. Error Message : Signal/message implausible. Fault stored.We have recovered your vehicle.due to auto gear box fault. recovered to home address, member aware we will not attend this vehicle again for the same

Anyone be able to help me out with this???

If this is a 59 plate, surely it is covered by warranty, contact the dealer you bought it from?

It's a 10 year old car - so probably not in warranty.

Sorry, my error, reading it would be 2019 not 2009. Not concentrating!

Sadly can't help the OP with their fault, however i would like to know which breakdown service presumably sent this interesting line as part of their breakdown report...

''member aware we will not attend this vehicle again for the same''

...so i know which one to avoid like the plague in the future.

I would assume this is a reoccurring fault that the op has not had fixed . As I have stated on many previous occasions, you can’t fix cars with fault codes alone . Get the car to a Chrysler/jeep specialist to let them carry out a test plan. If it’s a gearbox fault , it may not be an economic repair.

Thinking about buying a Dodge Journey. Thoughts?

Sorry if I'm not posting this in the correct spot, but I'm just looking for some advice... A little background, I have owned a Chevy Impala for about 5-6 years now and have really liked it. The car has always been good to me, but it now has 180,000 miles and the issues are piling up.

I went to a dealership today and found a 2016 Dodge Journey with 16,000 miles on it for $16,990. I took it for a test drive and really liked the way it drove. I need a larger SUV for what I do for work and am leaning towards this purchase. Does anyone out there own a Journey or have owned one in the past and have any guidance they could throw my way?
