i posted about my ongoing problem with a delaminating SLK roof. Turns out this is q common. In fact in 2013 the material for the roof was changedto address the issue. Seems the hot sun forces the plastic material to expand sideways creating enough force to bow the roof at the back. The SLK world forum is full of instances of this problem. I have informed HJ of the site and re contacted Mercedes customer care. Their last stance was the car is almost six years old....time I first got in touch...so tough. I asked if Mercedes cars were expected to come apart at 6 years old. Mercedes say the only fix is a new roof, presumably that would be of the new material
