Advice on sensible family truck - Dogbreath
Can anyone advise on the best pick up truck? I want something reliable but not too big.

Beautiful to drive, reliable as anything, and totally solid.

(Always wanted to know if a Fiesta would 'start' after the tide had been over it, suspect it would - what do you chaps & chapesses think?)

The closest I can give an example of is when my Uncle crashed a Fiesta into a flooded ditch and drowned a lot of the engine bay, after dragging it out it started first time. :-)

The new truck on the block is the Isuzu D-Max 3.0D, called the Rodeo in the UK. The most powerful is the Nissan Navara. But the one that starred in Top Gear is the Hi Lux.

Which ever one you buy just make sure you have it very well alarmed,immobilised and maybe trackered.I have just had a Hi-Lux double cab stolen from a 'secure'yard by thieves that targeted that particular vehicle.

Not on your list, but I saw a lincoln navigator today, absolutely huge. It must have had 22inch wheels on! Footballers wives, no doubt.
