Thought you might like to know that I have a new Panda and it's absolutely brilliant - fun to drive, economical and looks good! Any other fans out there?

I told you all so, a few months ago.

When the Tata Rover and Fiat Panda were about to be launched.

I'm seriously considering taking the plunge and buying one.Love Fiats, and had a good few old Panda's and Cinquecentos.Which model do you have? Arnold Clark up here are putting the base model out at £4988....

I really like the Panda, I would consider buying one but the KIA Picanto comes with ABS, an MP3 player & does 58 MPG (10 more than the Panda) and should be more reliable.

Its amazing what you can get now for £5000, budget car prices have come down so much in the last few year while the cars are getting better.

I regret to say but having hated Fiats for years (124 great, Marea poor) I was considering buying a nearly new panda 4x4 in 12 months time.

I'll lie down : my wife says the condition is a recurring illness called "carchangeitis". It is contagious.

I've got the 1.2 Dynamic SkyDome in Tiziano red. Done 2400 miles so far - no problems. Economical, about 54 mpg, according to the trip computer, and well specified.

Why does Carl think that the Kia Picanto will be more reliable??? I'd go for the Panda - heaps of room inside, well built....etc etc

Gorgeous George wrote in the 1,000,000 copies a day \'Daily Star\' that he actually prefers the new Panda to a Ferrari, reasons being the fun it provides is more accessible, it\'s more practical, you don\'t have to answer lost of queations like \"How fast will it go, mister?\" and you don\'t suffer from envy scratches. The bas model Active with black bumpers and just 52bhp is actually the best of the bunch, but properly folding and sliding back seats are a £200 extra. If you can get one for under £5k, grab it.

Absolutely!! (But I'm still pleased I've got the 1.2!)

I'm just going on history of the brands regarding reliability, heart says Panda ? head says Picanto.

They are both great cars, hope both do well.
