I wonder which will sell the most - Prius or CityRover?

I'd be interested to know just what on earth it was which posessed so many people to vote for a car that is so comphrenensivly terrible and pointless that even bearded Eco-manics didn't buy one.
It's patheticly expensive and in the real world is no more economical than a decent diesel, and it looks like something out of a questionable B movie.

and it's not European - like a couple of others also. Or does European mean it's voted for in Europe?

Don't ask me. I'm just glad the Astra didn't win, otherwise a certain Alfa driving moderator *could* have accused me of rigging the result.

No, it was Mark who rigged the Astra figures. Do you really think 20 people voted for it?

Maybe it was those irritating kids who do the TV adverts for the Vauxhalll Zzzz?

On reading HJ's Astra road test, ( www.honestjohn.co.uk/road_tests/index.htm?id=148 ) he must have been one of the voters. I was another one, and I imagine Victorbox would have also done so. That leaves 17 to account for somewhere.

No, I didn't vote for the Astra. I voted for the Prius. The Astra test was after the vote anyway. But I'd still have voted for the Prius. It's the only refreshing new technology, new thinking and new driving experience on the list.
