I see Clarkson has been road testing the Vauxhall Monaro so enthusiastically that he is left with two dislocated lumber discs and been advised to stop driving until he is fully recovered.!!!!

That explains why he was so unhappy waiting in the queue to get into dinner at Goodwood House the Saturday night before last. (If you've ever had back trouble you'll know what I'm talking about.)

I would think that all those fancy motors out there are breathing a sigh of relief in the knowledge that their engines and tyres will remain in usable condition for a little bit longer now that he is not around to take his vengeance out on them.
Sorry about his back though!

He mentioned the problem at Live 8 concert.and seemed as you would expect.Very uncomfortable.But would expect it to take a while to mend
