No. Didn't get on that one. Don't have a US work visa anyway and can't be bothered with the hassle of getting one. Not the daft place for a worldwide launch you might think, though. It's the Japanese side of the USA. And California is a big market for the car. But apparently it was 26 hours flying, including (bad) connections. If I'd been them I'd have done it on Langkawi.

& you'd have thought that Mazda would have promoted the competition, to win the chance to go there, for the launch, too!
It was open to all & sundry, but only if you chose to visit the Mazda site - they didn't even mail existing newish Mx5 customers, 'till AFTER the competition had closed(ask Mrs V!!)
At least we can all pre-order one, if we want!!
