Pugeot 406 cruise control

Pugeot 406 cruise control - RichTbuscuit
I've had a Peugeot 406 for 3 years and the cruise control worked fine, now when I switch it on it works for about 30 seconds and then turns off and will not go again until the engine is restarted and then the same thing happens again. Any ideas?
