2003 Beetle Stop Lights - Honestjohn
This came in from the USA. Does anyone have an anwer for the guy?

I've seen that i'm not the only one having trouble changing out my
stop light bulb. Does anyone have any insight on this?

2003 Beetle Stop Lights - elekie&a/c doctor
Yes.In the boot (trunk) there is a flip down plastic cover behind the light assembly.This reveals a plastic knob.Unscrew anticlockwise and this releases the springy metal bracket that secures the lamp to the body.There is a small retaining lug at about the 1o'clock position.Manoeure the lamp off the body.hth
