The old LHD->RHD conversion gremlin strikes again.
I'm sure this is one of the main reasons certain cars have a patchy reputation in the UK. This practice of designing a car for LHD then converting it, often badly, is far from ideal.
But it's never mentioned in the motoring press. They prefer to diss Kia for putting the indicator stalk the *right* way around......

Thanks Henry K. Added to cbcb. In response to jase1 I certainly don't diss anyone for putting the indicator on the right. We've discussed this before. On a RHD car, right is the right side because then you can flick the indicators with your fingers and hold the wheel while changing gear with the left hand. The only reason they are on the left on RHD cars is because they are on the left on LHD cars and European manufacturers have standardised them to be on the left. But here is curiosity: Indicators are on the right on Thai cars which is a RHD country. But South Korea, where KIA comes from, is a LHD country.
