Anyone interested in some motoring anecdotes from my 9 years, and growing, here? John said you may be, on the other hand he's probably just fed up with hearing them directly!!

kievclive joined us this morning, and I suggested you might be interested in his experiences. We got Shevchenko. The Ukraine got Clive.

Interestingly enough the thought of Shevchenko's wife would probably be the only thing to lure me back - in truth both she and Chelsea's supporters would notice the difference but ideally she quicker than them.

Lets hear about driving the Ukraine. We get regular reports from Poland and used to on the Philipines until the big C struck, plus many other unusual places.
What are the roads like, how good are the drivers, etc. Anything that is strange will always be of interest. Do not forget anything that is funny.
We are waiting.

I read frequently, but only post when I have something useful to say.

lots of funny stuff, will post it on an on-going basis if no one minds - during the day I do an impression of being in the equity markets so can sometimes be distracted from real life!

Definitely!

Has to be interesting. We were in Rome last week and found that apart from the Piazza Venezia, which has no road markings, the rest of the traffic seemed to be much calmer than in Manchester - let alone London.

Did you actually drive anywhere Espada?
I've driven Porsche GT2 round Rome and its been one of the most frightening things that I've ever done, mostly cos I was driving a £50K on third party insurance and would be paying for any repairs myself!
The car drivers are mostly madder than Mad Mad MacMad, three times winner of Mr Mad contest. In that respect its identical to Paris. However add to that mix a constant swarm of suicidal scooter riders and the place is about the worst I've ever had to drive in. Fortunately both the car and I escaped unscathed.
