Civic Diesel v competitors - Colin W

This might be a bit premature since it's only just on the market, but does anyone have any experience of, and opinions on the new Civic diesel engine v the competition, in particular Ford and VW?

Civic Diesel v competitors - JohnM{P}

Civic Diesel is tested in this month's (May) 'Diesel Car', who found it had comparable performance with other 100bhp diesels but with a frugal thirst.
(Look for Diesel Car in larger newsagents/WHS)

Civic Diesel v competitors - Honestjohn

I heard yesterday theat Diesel Car had been sold. The new publishers will do all they can to get it re-listed for wider distribution.
