Abarth in pearl white, chequed roof, 17's, red leather and maybe a remap to 155hp ?

Shame the engine in the video sounds like a 20yr old diesel.

I believe there will be an Abarth SS to follow with a more powerful engine. Not sure when it's expected though.
In my opinion the 500 has a lot more retro credentials than the Mini. It's made by the same company as the original for a start.
The Mini has never done anything for me, but I'm actually very impressed with the 500 having had a look round one.

The Abart SS is rumoured to have 155bhp and there will be an upgrade pack via the Abarth dealers to take it to 180bhp!

I saw a transporter full of Fiat 500's yesterday - nice looking car.

The 1.4 T-JET already puts out 150PS in the Bravo, so remapping a T-JET with 135 to 160+ should be no problem. The question is, will the car drive and handle as well as a RenaultSport Clio 197 Cup?

My guess is no judging by the reviews so far for the FIAT 500. But you never know. I think I would personally prefer an Abarth 500 to the Clio 197 Cup but that's me.
