Choosing a Car by its Tax Band - Honestjohn
Someone tried to post a link to Parkers to choose a car by its VED band. But you don't have to go to Parkers to link. It's on the VCA site at www.vcacarfueldata.org.uk/search/vedSearch.asp

You just click the blue figure for the list. Unfortunately it does not show next year's crucial VED bands by which some post March 2001 cars jump by £230 to £440 a year.

It doesn't seem to list every model either - a neighbour has just bought an 02 Almera and this model isn't listed.

Yes. It only current models. If you ahve a car and want to know its VED, the best site is www.smmtco2.co.uk/co2search2.asp , though even that is confusing in places as if it has been put together by computer geeks rather than people who understand cars and the psychology of drivers.
