T25 Camper - 1990 1.9 Brake lights - Dieselian

Just bought a Volkswagon T25 camper yesterday and the brake lights aren`t working.Any ideas.

Check the bulbs; the fuse and the feed in and out of the pedal switch.

always look for bad earths on old vehicles too. This can cause various malfunctions. If both have gone does point to switch of feed to switch. But earth points now getting rusty/dirty.
