Hi,

My son's Seat Ibiza has got the engine management fault light on with loss of power and what sound like a misfire.

Anybody got any ideas to help.

Start by getting the fault-codes read.

Could be any number of things. Needs plugging into a fault code diagnostic reader - usually a more reliable method than guesswork is.
