Interesting video on the above. Good to hear John praise the gearing. I tried the Leon Ecomotve recently and found it a bit over geared. The thing that put e off these cars ( and will probably prevent me from getting another Diesel) are the concern regarding particulate filters and also the high initial cost of ownership in the Ford's case (the Leon is excellent value for money)

The 90PS ECOnetic is the real economy champ. The 110PS ECOnetic is only about 3-4mpg better than the ordinary Focus 1.6TDCI 110 and there have been plenty of those about at mammoth discounts.
